Good Franconian cuisine 👌

First the positive: the paintings on the wall are great and the drinks nice and cold. Ordered 2 meals (there were still no orders to be processed), one meal was supposed to be schnitzel with chanterelles and croquettes, a schnitzel with french fries was brought. After complaining it went back to the kitchen, you could hear the microwave and after its beep the same schnitzel with sauce and fries came back to the table. After our visit, we smelled very deep fried. In short: we were very disappointed and will not go again.

Anyone who has never been to Uli's rustic inn has really missed something. What he conjures up on the plate for this money reminds of the portions, the taste, the presentation and the ambience of times long past - and the Uli fits it like a fist on the eye!

Very disappointing. Spontaneously came to the Sunday table with a colleague. Have each ordered a Cordeon Bleu, the fries in the frit for far too long (the extremely thin cheap Aldi fries were the bag for 99 cents) and the Cordeon Bleu is 7 cm x 7 cm, so a child's portion loveless on the approx. 50 grams of fries lay. For pensioners or children in terms of the amount in order but for a normal adult who wants to get fed up definitely not recommended !! I cannot rate the other foods in terms of quality and quantity, but I will not eat there anymore. Unfortunately absolutely NOT recommended and would give 0 stars if possible.

We always go for lunch and the lunch menu for 6.50 € is always recommended. Ulli is also the best cook with a combination of waiters. 👍😁 There is also a certain flair, if you feel like a German restaurant as it used to be with e.g. Stammtisch, is absolutely right here.

Really quaint restaurant, rustic as in time stopped with beautiful murals. The host is very nice and the menu offers a nice selection of German cuisine. On the lunch menu it has become attentive eg gypsy schnitzel with fries and 0.5 drink 6,50 and it was delicious and adequate. What more do you want!

Good middle-class Upper Franconian economy with a clear menu, but very tasty food. The rustic furnishings are reminiscent of old village inns, especially in the toilets you feel like you have been transported back in time.

The small, sloping tavern opposite the large town hall .... If you love good, rustic regional cuisine, you really 'eat' at Ulli !! A selected lunch table for 6 euros including a drink during the week and tasty dishes on Sundays offer variety for everyone. And if you want to see the sights of the city of Hof in a local tour, this is the place for you. Ulli is looking forward to your visit !!
